Characters
Horrid Henry
Horrid Henry is the main character of the series. He is around 9 years old. Often in episodes, he contemplates what rules he'd have if he were to be ruler of the earth. His usual catchphrases are "NOOOO!", "Silence, worm" (directed at Peter),"Eureka! That's it!" and "IT'S NOT FAIIIIIIR!". His best friend (most of the time) is Rude Ralph and they belong to "The Purple Hand Gang". Henry's brother Peter is also a part of this gang but has been kicked out by Henry on numerous occasions. Henry has an obvious dislike towards his next door neighbor, Moody Margaret, and her best friend, Sour Susan. He enjoys watching TV shows such as Mutant Max, Rapper Zapper and Terminator Gladiator. He often shows great dislike to his parents, his teacher Miss Battle-Axe, and his Great Aunt Greta, who believes Henry is actually a four year old girl called Henrietta. Henry loves the band Killerboyratz.
Perfect Peter
Perfect Peter is Horrid Henry's brother who has a totally different personality. Shown to be around 6 years old, he appears to be a telltale and gullible enough to fall for Henry's tricks, the worst one so far probably being Henry's cardboard box time machine. He has a "Best Boy's Club" with his best friends, and only members can come in. Perfect Peter often smiles, unlike his brother. He plays the cello and loves school and homework. Despite his name, he tends to showoff how "good" he really is, usually by telling on Henry and getting him into trouble only to see his reaction.
Mum
Mum is Henry and Peter's mother. She has never trusted Henry to be well behaved, is extremely healthy, and always makes something with vegetables for dinner, much to Henry's disgust. She does healthy snacks for parties too. According to Henry, she's told him millions of times that he can never have another party because he's always naughty, and then she always lets him have ONE more chance every year. She always believes Peter and is best known for accusing Henry after Peter has told on Henry. She is married to dad, although in several books, she's shown to be more loving towards Henry than her husband is.
And she dosent give henry a chanes to be good
Dad
Dad is the father of Henry and Peter, and the husband of Mum.
He always said he hated henry peter and his wife he said one day he'd stab peter henry and his wif to death and dig a hole and dump them in it.He never liked any of them he wanted to kill people and steal and rapped older women.
Great Aunt Greta
She always says henrys a 21 year old and peter isn't born she always says she's glad henry is born and not peter
Moody Margaret
A girl who lives next door to Henry, and is also in the same class as him at school. She has a
treehouse in her garden, and Henry often gains entry to her garden through a loose panel in the fence. In many ways she's shown to be a female equivalent of Henry, and they dislike each other, although on occasion they strike up temporary alliances.
Beefy Bert
Beefy Bert is usually seen in the crowds of children at Henry and Peter's school. Whenever anyone asks him a question, his immediate answer is "I dunno". He only eats beef despite his name.
Rude Ralph
Henry's best friend. He is always willing to assist Henry with his plans, and is also a member of the Purple Hand Gang. He has a tendency to be rude to people, as his name suggests, and is often seen hanging out with Henry, even though in some episodes they're enemies.
Brainy Brian
The smartest boy in Horrid Henry's class.
Aerobic Al
A sporty boy in Henry's class who likes to stay fit and healthy, he enjoys sport and keeping fit, he also eats very healthily. Although the sight of sweets can divert his attention.
Gorgeous Gurinda
A lovely lively girl in Henry's class.
Singing Soraya
A girl in Henry's class who sings a lot
Lazy Linda
The laziest girl in Henry's class, who is absolutely scruffy. She is often seen sleeping during a scene.
Weepy William
A boy in Henry's class who is the biggest cry baby known to mankind.
Anxious Andrew
A boy in Henry's class who has an extremely similar personality to William and is nervous and hesitant to do anything, he struggles to talk, is quite gullible and hates extreme activities such as bungie-jumping.
Sour Susan
Sour Susan is Margaret's minion and best friend. She always has a grumpy and sour face. Susan is mostly a parrot to Margaret, and usually says "yeah, Henry" after Margaret offends him or proves him wrong.
Miss Battle-Axe
Miss Boudicca Battle-Axe is Henry's teacher. Out of all the
children in her class, she hates Henry most. She once appeared with her
mother in "Horrid Henry dines at Restaurant le Posh". She is probably the strictest teacher in the school.
Miss Lovely
Miss Lydia Lovely is Peter's teacher. As her name suggests, she's a gentle nature. She is very proud of Peter's progress and behaviour and is always saying nice things about him to his parents, except in Horrid Henry's Computer, when Henry tricks her into believing that Peter wrote a rude essay about her.
Miss Oddbod
The headmistress of the school and had no friends and is somewhat kinder to Henry than Miss Battle-Axe, she's generally good-natured but can act strange at times, for example, she was the 'time capsule thief' who dug up time capsules from the school grounds at night.
Prissy Polly
Henry's post-teen cousin who is always in a jumpy and hyper mood and is usually seen smiling. Marries Pimply Paul in Horrid Henry's Wedding and together, they've one daughter, Vomiting Vera.
Pimply Paul
A nasty, pimply-faced man who married Prissy Polly in "Horrid Henry's Wedding" and had one daughter with her, Vomiting Vera. He always refers to Henry as a "brat".
Stuck-up Steve
Steve is Henry's Stuck up Cousin. Henry calls him "Stuck up" because of how rich and spoilt Steve is compared to Henry. As on the episode Horrid Henry's Haunted House, Henry scares Aunt Ruby and Steve away from their house and Henry keeps the house and everything in it to himself. When Horrid Henry goes face to face with Steve, Henry wins by eating all his snails.
Fluffy
Fluffy is Peter's white Persian cat, who feuds with Henry's hamster, Fang (who makes dog noises). Fluffy is shown in many episodes sitting by the window sill at night and as he clicks the remote control button next to him, the scene changes to sunrise.
